Assigment: Bring Food for Lunch (note: make sure di bitin ang rice at masasatisfy tummy namin)

I was assigned  last March 28, 2014 to bring lunch at work.  At first, I decided to just order and wait for Mr. KFC to deliver food. Good thing, I attended the mass in the afternoon of March 27 and fortunately witnessed the national food fair.  No entrance fee and everyone was welcome.  The megatrade hall was filled with so many sumptuous, mouth-watering, yummy local specialty! So great to see kapampangan famous Mekeni, Pampanga's Best etc. Pancit  Bato from Camarines Norte, Pangasinan Bagoong, Davao delicacies, Mindoro fried fish, Benguet fresh vegetables, Isabela products, Cagayan de Oro City and most of all Ilocos famous empanada, bagnet, cornik, longganisa and miki.  Would you believe they were all in the metro?  So I invited most of my colleagues to visit the trade and they did enjoy the food.  Visiting the fair was like travelling to different places in the Philippines.  It was indeed a tummy-full experienced.

I have tasted the following:

miking Ilocos for three times
empanada for three times also
pancit bato twice
hotdog- many times
bagnet
and the rest were free taste (",)

The pictures above was our simple lunch.  (",)

Itlog ni Kuya from Laguna: salted egg
Ilocos longganisa
Fresh lettuce from Benguet
Kamatis and leeks (was looking for shallots but not available so I used leeks instead) fresh from Benguet
Pangasinan Buggoong
Ripe mangoes from Davao

Goal achieved for the day. (",)

Mangan tayon! Mabisinakon! (",)
