Election Fever 2013

Election fever 2013! Election in the Philippines is as ruthless as the weather especially in other provinces, including the metro.  We are fortunate because in Ilocos Norte, the election went as smooth as eating ice candy!  My sister and I decided to go to the precint in the afternoon at exactly 5:30.  We agreed to walk while taking photos as we were enjoying the quite freezy afternoon since the precint is just 15 minutes away from our home.  We were the last fellows who cast our votes.  After we finished our prime purpose, I took the opportunity to take lots of photos to a remarkable place.

 

Thumbs up to our baranggay watchmen, officials, assigned police and teachers for doing their job well. (",)

Summer at Robinsons Ilocos

Summer at Robinsons Ilocos Norte! (",) This is the best time to go there at least to lessen the terrible heat during the day.   You can watch a movie, eat at foodcourt  or enjoy the available food kiosk,or simply look around and watch unguarded moments of people. A shopping mall is a very convenient place to shop so find "ragsak"  while doing your shopping. (",)

Shane, A Pet Lover Kid

Besides mustering toys preferably big robots, this kiddo keeps an eye to omnifarious species of animals.  From colorful chicks to rabbits, namely Ra and Beeth, to gold fishes to meow! See? if this kiddo has a humongous heart for these creatures, how about you? Isn't it a challenge for us to take some extra care to other creatures? Remember, we are called for that, to be stewards of God's creations.  Good job lil' boy!  The more you give love, the more you receive. (",)

 

Shane, a pet lover is the nephew of my bff, Prettie and son of Steph, a London based nurse.  I was thinking, maybe he got his inspiration from his tita Prettie.  Tita Prettie is actually a lover of pets especially cats. Oh well what so touching is, at a very young age he has developed that kind of love and relationship with animals. 

 

I hope you will get some spark to own more than a pet next time, so you will experience very remarkable relationships with animals that sometimes become our greatest heroes, healers and teachers.  I can imagine what a wonderful world we have if all of us are into really caring animals. Thumbs up to furry feathered or four-legged sweet creatures! (",)
